We had an unhurried start to our day before heading out to the pier in the Myrtle Beach State Park. Amazing that the majesty of the ocean is within walking distance of the heavily wooded campground. It was a fun walk and we were able to take lots of pictures.

The Boardwalk area was just a short drive away. Parking was convenient near Pier 14 where we had lunch with a view of the ocean. Atmosphere was great and the food was adequate. Great place to take a few more pictures.

We walked along the Boardwalk enjoying the beauty of the water and sounds of the waves crashing on the sand. It was a windy sunny day in the mid 70s, perfect weather.

A short drive back to ChILL where we had a cool drink and relaxed at the campsite enjoying the beautiful day outside surrounded by nature. Later we went to Bubba’s Fish Camp & Smokehouse, around 7 miles away. Interesting to have seafood choices and BBQ choices featured in the name of the restaurant. Each of us chose BBQ items for our dinners. The meats and the BBQ sauce were very good and the sides were OK. Another good day!
